EuroShop 2014: retail wears PRESTIGEglass
Weinheim, 11 February 2014 +++ At EuroShop 2014, the world's biggest and most important trade fair for retail, Online Software AG is presenting a solution for Google Glass. The PRESTIGEglass application allows the customer to visualise product information such as allergens and ingredients by viewing the product. Using the PRESTIGEglass app, Google Glass records the viewed product and then show which allergens are contained in this product. The application supports the trend towards more conscious purchasing behaviour and also tackles the challenges of the Food Information Regulation (FIR), which comes into force in December 2014. This regulation contains certain significantly stricter labelling specifications than the previous regulation, including the mandatory provision of information on allergens.
However, offers can also be particularly emphasised with PRESTIGEglass and cross selling purchases initiated with product recommendations. With the attention-grabbing Google glass, one has the internet, a camera, a mobile phone and a large number of special apps such as PRESTIGEglass in view at all times.
