With the new PRESTIGEenterprise 3 release, Online Software has addressed current topics and once more extended noticeably the performance and functional range of its software package for advertising and active InStore marketing at the PoS and PoI.
Windows 7
With PRESTIGEenterprise you can continue to make use of all the advantages of the most up-to-date Windows operating systems. All client components of PRESTIGEenterprise are executable with Windows 7. This applies, besides the DisplayEngine and PrintEngine, also to the Uploader, Programplanner and the web-based user interface.
Firefox
Besides the use of the Internet Explorer it is now also possible to use PRESTIGEenterprise on Mozilla Firefox. The web-based user interface profits from the better performance of the Firefox internet browser compared with the Internet Explorer. The improved user experience is demonstrated by noticeably faster system responses. Queries, such as sorting or searching are displayed considerably faster.
64-bit
The call for faster operating systems is becoming ever louder, especially as storage space is becoming ever cheaper. Modern multi-core processors invite loading many programs simultaneously. However, utilising more than 4 GB storage capacity requires 32-bit operating systems.
Excite your IT manager with the free choice of operating system. The new PRESTIGEenterprise 3 version now runs also on a Windows server with a 64-bit operating system. Choose for yourself how much speed you require.
Stability
The next evolutionary stage of the DisplayEngine 5, the software components necessary to render on a monitor, now handles all content even more flexibly and resource-sparingly. The processor is also not stressed much when playing demanding content such as HD videos and can this be better maximised. Using the resource-sparing DisplayEngine, PRESTIGEenterprise 3 runs more stably and is more failure-proof.
Dynamic Templates
PRESTIGEenterprise 3 can utilise the entire range of dynamic templates as familiar from PRESTIGE 8. The tool is applied when not all the text fields of the template are used. Using dynamic templates it is possible to distribute the available space evenly among the fields used. Your layout is automatically adjusted and distributed optimally on the layout. This makes the design of complex posters and monitor content simpler, whilst simultaneously reducing the number of templates required.
The dynamic templates provide a better overview and are especially useful for complex templates or when using many templates that are very different. Dynamic templates save you time and effort because fewer templates are necessary for all requirements. This provides a better overview and avoids mistakes.
Compression dynamic
Compression dynamic enables the alignment in a horizontal and vertical direction e.g. when listing product characteristics or product accessories available additionally. At the same time, the template compresses automatically the existing text fields if not all text fields are utilised.
Logo dynamic
Regardless of whether you are using a logo in an upright format or a wide logo, it is always placed optimally and, if necessary, enlarged – within one and the same template.
Videos preview pictures
A new function in PRESTIGEenterprise 3 makes it possible, besides the familiar picture preview, to display a preview when uploading videos. Uploading videos via the Uploader now offers more user response and is more robust against network failure.
